DIRT

Owners Andrea and Sarah met in 2019 and bonded over a shared interest in fashion and design. They launched dirt on the 28th of November 2020 and have been receiving a great reception from customers around the world since.

The first dirt sandals were designed with the idea of creating a statement sandal that would accentuate any outfit. They take inspiration from the fashion of the late 90’s/early ’00s. Their design can be distinguished by its bold colors and chunky soles.

Each sandal is handcrafted by a small-scale manufacturer in Bali. All leather is hand-selected from a tannery in Java. The leather used is a by-product of meat that feeds the people in those areas.
